### Overview The QR Code Management module in Orbitus allows you to generate both static and dynamic QR codes for various internal and external resources. Whether you want to route users to a specific dynamic form, share a catalog product, or provide a link to a reservation portal, you can easily create customized, branded QR codes and track their scan analytics. ### Dynamic vs. Static QR Codes - **Dynamic QR Codes:** The destination URL of a dynamic QR code can be changed even after the code has been printed. These codes redirect through an Orbitus tracking link, allowing you to capture detailed analytics (scan count, location, device type). - **Static QR Codes:** The destination URL is hardcoded directly into the QR code. They cannot be edited after creation and do not provide scan analytics, but they do not rely on Orbitus routing. ### Generating a New QR Code 1. Navigate to **System > QR Codes** (`/admin/qr-codes`). 2. Click on **Create QR Code**. 3. Select the target type (e.g., URL, Form, Catalog Item, Reservation Page). 4. Choose whether the QR code should be **Dynamic** or **Static**. 5. Customize the visual appearance: - Change the foreground and background colors. - Upload a center logo (e.g., your company logo). - Adjust the error correction level. 6. Click **Generate** and then **Download** (available in PNG or SVG formats). ### Tracking and Analytics For dynamic QR codes, you can view performance metrics by clicking on the specific code in the management list. The analytics dashboard provides: - Total number of scans over time. - Geographic distribution of scans. - Device and browser breakdowns. ### Integration with Other Modules QR Codes are tightly integrated with the rest of the Orbitus platform. You can generate a QR code directly from a specific Form or Product page without needing to manually copy and paste URLs. Simply click the "Share via QR" button present on supported module pages.
