The Operating System Control Panel

The Settings module is divided into intuitive tabs, allowing administrators to find and configure system parameters quickly. Changes made here propagate across the entire organization instantly. Access is strictly limited to users with the "Admin" or "Owner" roles.

⚙️ General & Org Settings

Configure universal platform constants. In the General Tab, set the default language, timezone, session timeout limits, and primary UI behavior. In the Org Settings Tab, define the base structure of your organization unit, including default access levels and global capacity limits.

🏢 Company & Finance

The Company Tab stores official corporate information (Tax ID, Legal Name, Registered Address) used across official documents. The Finance Tab configures the primary currency, tax calculation rules (Inclusive vs Exclusive), and default billing cycles.

🎨 Appearance & PDF Settings

Customize the platform's visual identity. Use the Appearance Tab to upload your corporate logo, favicon, and set primary/accent brand colors. The PDF Settings Tab is a powerful layout engine where you design the headers, footers, and typography for all system-generated documents (Invoices, Quotes, Reports).

🔔 Notifications

Determine how and when the system alerts users. Configure default notification channels (Email, In-App, Push) for various events. Establish rules for daily digest emails versus instant alerts.

🧩 Module-Specific Configurations

Fine-tune individual operational modules without leaving the settings page:

Quotes Tab: Default validity period, mandatory terms, and approval workflows.
Reservations Tab: Buffer times, blackout dates, and capacity limits.
Support Tab: SLA thresholds, auto-responder templates, and ticket assignment rules.
Tasks Tab: Default board structures and automated column transitions.

⚠️ Danger Zone

A protected area for high-stakes administrative actions. From here, owners can perform destructive operations such as bulk-deleting legacy data, resetting organization configurations to factory defaults, or initiating organization deletion.

Step-by-Step: Configuring Custom PDF Invoices

Navigate to /admin/settings.
Click on the PDF Settings tab on the sidebar.
Upload your company logo in high resolution (PNG/SVG).
Define the Header format: Select "Logo Left, Company Data Right".
Enter your default Footer text (e.g., "Thank you for your business. Payment due in 30 days.").
Save the configuration. All subsequent PDF exports across the platform will instantly adopt this new layout.
