It acts as the singular source of truth preventing duplicates or broken links. Browse all assets in a visual grid or list view with file type icons, thumbnails, and metadata.

🔍 Search & Filtering

Search assets by filename, file type, upload date, or associated module. Filter by file type category (Images, Documents, Videos, Other) to quickly locate specific assets among thousands of files.

📋 File Details & Metadata

Click any asset to view its full details: file name, type, size, dimensions (for images), upload date, uploader, and the list of modules/records where it's currently referenced. This cross-reference prevents accidental deletion of files still in use.

Files possess specific retrieval paths based on backend permissions. Confidential documents like internal payroll templates or client NDAs cannot be accessed by unauthorized users. Public assets (like Help Center images) are served via CDN for optimal performance.
